The inaugural ceremony of the new academic session MBA 2021-2023

Students have joined ISBR’s fulltime 2-year MBA Program. The new students were welcomed through a virtual meeting portal due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation across the country. The online inauguration ceremony was in the presence of ISBR management, Chief Guest – Mr. Chandru Karlo, MD of TTK Prestige, India, Guest of Honour Dr. Dewanand Mahadew, CEO NewEconomyStrategies, Co-founder and Dean International Business Development Academy, Dr. Manish Kothari – Managing Director, ISBR Group of Institutions, Dr. Y. Lakshman Kumar, Director, ISBR Business School, Dr. B.S. Patil, Registrar and Dean, ISBR Business School, Faculty members, Staff members, Alumni, Students and Parents. The inaugural session began with a general welcome, followed by soulful rendition invoking
the blessings of the almighty to everyone to sail through these during these tough times. The Director of ISBR business School, Dr Y Lakshman Kumar, welcomed the incoming students, by introducing the ISBR family. He assured the parents of a impressive career for their wards in the journey that they are embarking on from today. He emphasized to the students the importance of a focused progression in their career ahead focusing on “Personal Excellence, Professional Excellence and Social Excellence. The Chief Guest, Mr. Chandru Karlo, MD of TTK Prestige, India, he appreciated the introductory remarks from Dr. Y. Lakshman Kumar and recommended 10 points that MBA
Students as future of India need to be mindful of, he emphasized more on smart work, attitude building, fostering innovation, investing in the career, and valuing the time. Finally, He motivated the students and suggested them “Joy and network with people whom they like and finally it should be a meaningful journey.” The Guest, of Honour, Dr. Dewanand Mahadew, CEO NewEconomyStrategies, Co-founder and Dean International Business Development Academy. He began the talk with putting emphasis on INDIAN culture, mentioning different types of skills we possess and how hardworking we Indian’s are. He suggested the students to be proactive as he believes that youth are the future of INDIA since most of the population is ready to learn. He also told the importance of good communication skills, work-life ethics, and how it is important to learn from your surroundings. He finally reminded me that “You are the future of India, be inspirational and energetic throughout the learning Journey”. The Guests on the dais, unveiled the new MBA batch 2021-2023, followed by the address from the senior students and alumni welcoming the incoming batch. The Student Handbook and Orientation brochure was released during the Inauguration by Dr. Manish Kothari and Dr. Y Lakshman Kumar. In the presidential address, Dr.Manish Kothari the Managing Director of ISBR stressed the prominence of inculcating Ethics, values, and integrity in one’s life. He also emphasized the importance of building networks in the current VUCA world. The importance of digital technologies, cosseting into immersive experiential learning, sharpening one’s acumen being a socially conscious citizen were the major highlights of the presidential address. was also touched upon in his address. He reassured the safety measures taken by the institute and
committed to giving the most memorable experience for all the students. The international partners of ISBR also extended their hearty welcome to an incoming batch of 2021. The students were also briefed regarding the Orientation program by the Training and Transformation Head at ISBR, Mr Suresh Raju. The orientation will be an energetic and
engaging 4 week learning journey focusing on 3 dimensions – Personal Excellence, Professional Excellence and Social Excellence. The inaugural session concluded with the Registrar and Dean, Dr BS Patil proposing the vote of thanks. It’s the beginning of a new academic year at ISBR business school
