Mr. Anil Bhasin – Former President – HAVELLS INDIA LTD (2004 –2020) He has 38+ years in FMEG Sector. He was acknowledged with Brick of Change Award by Mr.Amitabh Kant (CEO, NITI Aayog). Credited with Award for Excellence – Energy (Havells) by FICCI Smart Cities Summit. Lauded with Peter Drucker Memorial Award of
Excellence by International Chamber of Professional Education and Industry (ICPEI). He had Received career promotions 17 times across the tenure i.e, each year consistently during his tenure as Assistant General Manager in Bajaj Electricals Limited (1982 – 2000).
The session started with a brief introduction of ABC of Havells i.e., Accountable, Balanced, Clarity. One has to be Accountable for what you are, Balance the life from a manager to leader and the Clarity of what is to be done. Further the session is continued by talking about how Benjamin Franklin said that a big dream starts from something small. Many of the billionaires now are drop outs from the college such as Steve jobs, Bill gates. Your education doesn’t make
you rich but the way you think and behave in the society can.
Then the session is continued by Acceptance and Non Acceptance. If you do not accept yourself you would definitely fear but you need to be adventurous to accept who you are. You need to have right Attitude, Knowledge and Skills to apt for solutions for knots in your life. The Ability and Intelligence of a person is same but to be successful in life one should have desire, direction, dedication and discipline.
