Brief Profile of Speaker:
Rasna Kapoor is an astute Human Resource Professional with over a decade of experience in the field. She is currently working as a Manager, HR Business Partner at Razorpay, a fintech company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In her current role, she collaborates with HR & Business CoEs and finance to execute and maintain workforce strategies for the organization. She also partners with leadership to understand and navigate business needs and execute human capital strategies to support the organization(s). Prior to joining Razorpay, Rasna worked as an Employee Experience Specialist at Branch, a mobile linking platform based in Bengaluru, India. Before that, she worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, a healthcare company based in Bengaluru. She also worked as an Asst. Manager – HR at IT Intellect Resources in Pune, Maharashtra.
Rasna Kapoor holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resources
Management/Personnel Administration from Gauhati University. She also completed a course in
Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. She
completed her undergraduate studies at St Edmund’s College, School and her SSLC from Shillong College.
Rasna is passionate about analyzing human capital data, identifying trends, and facilitating dialogue to
generate positive workforce outcomes for an organization. She believes that respect and humility are
essential qualities for any professional, and she strives to embody these values in her work as a Culture
Ambassador for her organizations.

Abstract
In this talk Ms. Rasna Kapoor addresses on the concept of Role of Chat GPT in Human resources. ChatGPT, an AI tool has shown the potential to be a game-changer for the world because of its interactive nature and detailed responses.It is an interactive chat box and it is being used by different departments. ChatGPT can be used without much specialized training. Managing and maintaining a positive work force is an integral requirement for the HR department. ChatGPT tool is being used widely by the HR department for its benefits in handling employee queries and also by reducing redundancy and HR departments don’t have to answer similar queries. ChatGPT helps improve communication between HR and employees by offering a simple medium for inquiries and complaints. This could boost HR trust while enhancing employee engagement.

Flow of the Event:
The event started with a brief introduction and welcoming of the guest speaker. It then proceeded
with the speaker introducing the students to the concept and importance of human resources. Intro to HR- why knowing about your role in an organization is important for being interested in the work. “Unless you are passionate about what you want to do, you will never be happy about your
work”
What is HR- functions- discussed about talent acquisition, HRBP. Discussed Chat GPT- usefulness, (It is the bubble which may or may not burst), also had deep discussion on ChatGPT vs Google, Startups & ChatGPT- how they can use ChatGPT to their benefit, Limitations of ChatGPT. She also spoke about how ChatGPT is of help to HR analytics job. Finally she followed up with the questions from the audience and helped them clarify their doubts. The event came to a conclusion with the delivery of the vote of thanks.
