ISBR Business School conducted an International Conference on “Global Innovations: Sustainable Practices and Emerging Trends” with resounding success. The conference, held on the sprawling ISBR campus, witnessed participation from esteemed delegates representing various countries, including Cyprus, Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and India, with attendees joining remotely from across the globe. A highlight of the event was the presence of Dr. Geetha Manjunath, Founder of NIRAMAI Health Analytics, as the eminent Chief Guest. Dr Manjunath’s insights significantly enriched discussions centred around sustainable practices and emerging trends across diverse sectors. Moreover, the conference marked the unveiling of the much-awaited ISBR Impact Annual Report 2023, showcasing the institution’s remarkable contributions and accomplishments in education, research, and societal impact.
The conference featured two thought-provoking panel discussions, each exploring crucial topics shaping today’s global landscape. The first-panel discussion, titled “Empowerment Through Inclusivity: Creating Change Together,” brought together industry experts including Mr. Chella Pandian Pitchai, Ms. Anita Prasad, Mr. Mohan Kumar, Ms. Natasha Shirazi, and Mr. Rey C Thomas. Moderated by Dr. Veena Shenoy, Associate Professor at ISBR Business School, this session delved into the transformative power of inclusivity in driving change. The second-panel discussion, themed “Recognition and Inclusion in Sports in Select Asian and European Countries,” featured esteemed speakers from various academic and professional backgrounds. Notable speakers included Mr Kyriakos E. Georgiou, Dr Ivan Salazar Chang, Prof. Dr Nuno Miguel da Silva Januário, Prof. Dr Dina Sari, Prof. Dr Walter Seneviratne, and Prof. Sri Anna Marliyati, Prof. Dr Hizir Sofyan, Prof. Dr Kirti Mahajan, Dr Suresh Mani, Dr Thanuja Liyanage, and Ms Tiffany Correia. Dr. Sheetal Mahendher expertly moderated this session, which explored the dynamics of recognition and inclusion in sports across different regions.
