In the ever-evolving landscape of education, staying abreast of global standards and best practices is paramount for institutions aiming for excellence. ISBR Business School, in collaboration with SEAA and AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools), recently concluded a comprehensive Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Success with International Accreditations.” Held on May 10th and 11th, 2024, this event marked a significant milestone in the journey towards academic excellence and global recognition.
The FDP, meticulously curated to offer essential knowledge and practical insights, garnered substantial interest, drawing in a diverse group of approximately 100 national and international participants. Held in a hybrid mode, blending virtual participation with on-site engagement, the program facilitated a seamless exchange of ideas and experiences. An illustrious figure graced the event as the Chief Guest – Prof. Mendu Rammohan Rao, Dean Emeritus of the renowned Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad. His presence added an aura of prestige and wisdom to the proceedings, inspiring participants to strive for excellence in their academic endeavours.
The FDP boasted an impressive lineup of academicians and industry experts who led engaging discussions and workshops throughout the two-day event. Day 1 featured renowned figures such as Dr P Narayana Reddy, Vice President (South) at AIMS; Dr B. V. Krishnamurthy, Director at Peregrine Global Services; Dr Rony Kurien, Dean at ISME Bangalore; Mr Thothathri Raman, Economist and Education Leader; Dr Anand Agrawal, Executive Director at ISBR Business School; and Mr Nishit Jain, Director at ACBSP EFMD Asian Region.
Day 2 continued the momentum with prominent personalities including Douglas Gilbert, Co-Founder of EduPartners.coop; Prof. Archish, President of IACBE; Dr. Damodharan Varadarajan, Higher Education Expert; Dr. Tamilselvan Mahalingam, Quality Assurance Manager; Steve Parscale, Chief Accreditation Officer at ACBSP; and Prof. R. Nandagopal, Director General at Sree Saraswathi Thiagaraja College.
