Brief Description: BrandMash was an event hosted by ISBR’s Marketing Club. The teams were given certain advertisement audio files, and they were then required to create reels exhibiting their inventiveness and acting abilities.
BrandMash was an event held to encourage club members to participate in more activities. For this, they’ll need to create reels based on the advertisement audio recordings, which will allow them to reveal their concealed actor while also learning new information about the ad they’re working on. Overall, gamification was used to encourage leaning.
Students were separated into three groups of three for this task. They were instructed to create a reel and submit it by the following day so that all of the reels could be compiled and shown.
The deadline was pushed to the next day because most of them were not available offline.
Following the division of the teams, Audio Links were distributed and teams were instructed to begin preparing. There were eleven teams.
Takeaways from the event
Students studied about many advertising methods that can be used while making an advertisement. This also assisted the pupils in learning from their own mistakes and discovering their creative sides.
Students’ feedback: Because it provided an opportunity to do something other than academics, the response from the members was amazing. It was also about having fun while studying.
