To exhibit the motto of chess, ‘We are one people’, ISBR sports club conducted a healthy chess competition among the ISBR students. The tournament took place on 24th December’20 at 4 pm in the ISBR Auditorium. The tournament was planned under the guidance of Prof. V.V. Rao, Head of Sports Club, ISBR. The student coordinators organized the event and there were 12 participants who showcased their talent on the floor. The tournament was a knockout type tournament, after each fixture, winner proceeded to the next round. 10 matches were played in total after which Nakulla Sai Venkata came up as the winner of the tournament & runner-up was Prajwal Markandey of PGDM 2020-2022. Certificates were given to all the participants & special memento certificate was given to winner & runner-up of the tournament. The tournament was full of enthusiasm, fun & intellectual. The participants were supported by their peers & the event was done gracefully.
