Abstract/Snapshot: Dr. K.S. Lakshmi from the Department of Marketing hosted a panel discussion for PGDM students. Mr. Karthik M.V. and the student panel spoke on the topic of “Disruption in Marketing in the Neo Normal and Beyond.” After the panel presented a detailed discussion of the marketing trends, the students bombarded the speaker with questions.

There are no theatres and people are leaving because of the OTT/Netflix boom. There are no events or brand activations of any kind.

Rather than focusing on product advertising, Amazon and Cadburys’ Diwali promotions focused on social advertising to gain consumer trust and loyalty.
