A renowned statistician with more than 3 years of expertise, Dr. K. Satya Narayana Sharma. He received his doctoral degree from Bharathiar University. He has the goal of educating the pupils through his vast statistical knowledge and by sharing insightful information on the software “R Studio.”
He has taken the basics of statistics and also R Studio.
Students began by learning the fundamentals of data science and statistics before gradually moving on to more complex measurements of the central tendency. After a clean slate, we moved on to problem-solving tasks that helped us feel more confident about the subject. Following that, we studied measures of dispersion. We were then given a brief overview of the theoretical aspects of Skewness and Kurtosis before being shown a new piece of software called R STUDIO that simplifies statistical calculations. Working professionals with backgrounds in data science and analytics frequently use it. The class came to a close with information about several courses and tutorial videos that would aid in our practice with the software.
Learning’s from the event: It gave us a much needed recap of the statistics theory which we learnt in school. We gained basic knowledge about the R software.
Feedback from students: Dr. Sharma is very knowledgeable about his field of study and well versed with the technical knowhow of Data Science and Statistics. However, because of the subject being technical, few of the students were not able to connect very easily. A little more interaction would have been helpful in this scenario.
