The Gamification workshop was conducted in ISBR Business School from 11th to 14th March 2019. The main purpose of the workshop was to make the students understand all the basic concepts of marketing, Finance, Operations, and Human Resource management through various games. The games were intraday trading (Finance), Beer game (Operations), Employee retention(Human resource), Set a new market (Marketing) and there was a final game which was managing a company by each group. In the last game, each group which the students were made for other games are made into one whole company and separated into respective departments. Each group has a market share on their winning or losing margin in each game which will determine the increase or decrease of the share price of each company after every game. The group which has the highest share price and profit with them is the winner of the workshop. While playing all these games helped the student to brush up on the basic knowledge of various fields. The students got a clear idea of what they will get into when they experience corporate life and what are the things that they need to develop to sustain in each of these fields. One of the most important things that the students learned in the workshop is how coordination among various teams and various departments is very important to run an organization. It may be one of those workshops which involved both fun and learning and balanced it well satisfying everyone. The feedback from the students was also very welcoming than any other workshop, they wanted more workshops like this because it involved both fun and learning.
