Guest Session on HR Dashboard and its Importance

Dashboard reports allow managers to get a high-level overview of the business. It is a new buzzword in business nowadays. Most of the fields use a dashboard for easy and quick understanding. HR field is one among them. On 8th October 2020, Mr. Ismail from Triboro Solutions conducted an HR Dashboard Workshop to explain the need and importance a dashboard plays in the HR department. The dashboards usually contain different columns of data. This guest lecture connected each and every aspect of HR with age, gender and why does it matter a lot while preparing an employee database.

  • Age because different age people will have different perspectives towards their work.
  • Gender because the compensation and benefits structure will be changing.

The data visualization and dashboards help us understand where the organization’s culture and discipline lie with respect to revenues, turnover, attrition rate. He also taught the Recruitment Metrics like a source of hire, cost of hire, qualification, education in order to create a proper database of employees as a recruiter. After the dashboard representation, filters were created and then slicers were added in order to understand how different age has an impact on male and female separately along with the changes. With these, we can relate different data to find a connection between the columns of data and come to a conclusion and make decisions.
