As part of the orientation program for the new batch, we have visited the Art of Living convention center on July 20th, 2018. Visiting the ashram was indeed a treat to the eye and great learning for the students of PGDM Batch 2018-2020. Sri Sri Ravishankar Ashram is located at Kanakpura Road, Bangalore with a campus engulfed in greenery, resembling a small ecosystem. We took a whole tour of the ashram Mr. Anand, our guide, directed the students to a large hall and briefed the students about the functionality, vision, and mission of the organization and how a mind can be managed with scientifically proven breathing methods. The art of living center is operating in 156 countries. The Art of Living is a non-profit, educational and humanitarian organization founded in 1981 by the world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual teacher – Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. All the programs are guided by Gurudev’s philosophy: “Unless we have a stress-free mind and a violence-free society, we cannot achieve world peace.”The Art of Living community is diverse and attracts people from all walks of life.
