ISBR Business School is delighted to announce the launch of the Happy Folks Club and Summit for Senior Citizens, held on May 12th, 2024. This visionary initiative, driven by our Managing Director, Dr. Manish Kothari, aims to create a vibrant and supportive community for senior citizens, promoting dignity, happiness, and a sense of belonging.
The summit was graced by Ms. Rama N.S, CEO of the Electronic City Industries Association (ELCIA), as the chief guest. Esteemed speakers included Mrs. Seema, a renowned Zumba Trainer; Dr. Vasudha M. Sharma, Co-founder and Head of Medical Services at Vivekananda Health Global (VHG); and Mr. Chella Pandian Pitchai, Global Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Biocon Biologics. Their sessions provided valuable insights and inspiration, contributing to the summit’s success.

Under the mentorship of Rtn Veena Shenoy, Head of SDG’s Impact at ISBR Business School, the project was driven by a dedicated team of enthusiastic 12th-grade interns: Siddharth Kothari, Harshita Bhansali, Siddharth Tandle, Ravela Martin, Mudit R, Vineet Jain, Sasha Borker, Advika Patel, and Sidh N Jain. Their hard work and passion were instrumental in bringing this initiative to life.
The Happy Folks Club Summit saw over 100 senior citizens come together, embracing the philosophy that age is merely a number. This event marked the beginning of a community where every senior citizen can thrive with dignity and happiness. By establishing this club, ISBR is not only providing a platform for social engagement but also fostering an environment of inclusivity and support.
Our vision for the Happy Folks Club was significantly bolstered by our partnerships with Rotary Bangalore Health City and Rotary Bangalore Ulsoor, along with the steadfast support of Elcia and Biocon. Special thanks are due to Rtn Yogesh Goyal and Rtn Siddharth Agarwal from Rotary Bangalore Health City, Mr. Steevan Pinto, NIPM President Mangalore, and Rtn Mohan Kumar from Rotary Bangalore Ulsoor. Their unwavering dedication and support were instrumental in the resounding success of our summit and the establishment of the Happy Folks Club.
