The International tour kicked off with a day’s stop at Valencia, Spain where ISBR’s representatives lead by Dr. Y Lakshman Kumar, Dr. Sheetal and ERASMUS Project Coordinator Ms. Shashin Singh attended a weeklong conference on adopting European Learning framework and developed content for the upcoming Project SPIRIT (Sports Management & Physical Education Management Program at Valencia Politechnique University.
In France Dr. Manish our Chairman and Mr Kirron Bindu our Director of International Relations met four of our partners in France. In Montpelier Business School they met with the Head of International Relations Mr Xavier Rajot and his colleagues Dr. Moez Bennouri, Dr. Rameshwar Dubey, Dr. Mani Venkatesh They discussed the details of mutual
cooperation and mobility opportunities for ISBR under Graduate and Post Graduate Students. Post the meeting campus tour was organized where Bloomberg lab and their self-learning labs.
In Lyon Dr Manish and Mr. Kirron met with the respective of 3A Ms. Cristiane Werlang: International Coordinator – non European countries, Fanny Fontaine: Head of International Programs, Elody Vincent: Head of Exchange & Study Abroad (incomings & Summer School), Karine Giraud: Director ESCD 3A Lyon and Benedicte Favre: Director of International Relations. Both schools agreed to establish an exclusive global mobility track for both ISBR Graduate and Undergraduate students.
ISBR undergraduate students would be able to obtain a French Degree by attending just one additional year of School at 3A in Lyon. The ISBR Business Students would get an immersion experience into European Management Education for an entire month during summer at 3A campus in Lyon.
Next stop was Y School of Business in Troyes here they met with the officials of the International Relations office of Y Schools Ms Dounya Gharbage and her colleague Ms. Sophie Lorandeau. They discussed on growing the cooperation further. This was followed by a campus tour of the newly built campus of Y Schools and they saw firsthand the student
experience at Y Schools. The final stop was at Dijon at Burgundy School of Business where they met the Associate
Dean of International Relations Ms. Claudia Sampel and Manager of International Relations Ms. Marie Franchel. BSB officials presented the various opportunities that ISBR students could take advantage of to give International mobility and earn European degrees. They agreed to recognize the course work to award credits. This was followed by a campus tour of their over 100 year old Campus which offers great student experience. To sum up, the weeklong tour of two countries and to five different institutions and meetings with over sixty academicians and professionals reaffirmed the deep cooperation that is possible between Indian school like ISBR and European Schools.
