Dancing is an art. For most people who are not trained or for those for whom dancing does not come naturally, it may seem like a very strange concept of expression. However, for others it is a means to express self-emotions or to connect with the music in an entirely different manner. In 1982 the Dance Committee of ITI founded the International Dance Day to be celebrated every year on the 29th of April, the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre, creator of modern ballet. The intention of the International Dance Day Message is to celebrate dance, revel in the universality of this art form, cross all political, cultural and ethnic barriers, and bring people together with a common language – dance. As a way of celebrating the International Dance Day, the cultural club decided to conduct a Dance and Ramp walk event on 11th May 2022. This event not only allowed for a fun evening but also gives an opportunity to those how want to show-case their talents.
