Good marketing makes the company look smart, great marketing makes the customer feel smart. The Marketing Carnival, organized by the Marketing Club, brought the organizing, marketing, and managerial skills of the students and laid a platform for the students to put their acquired knowledge into practice.
The event took place on 7 October 2017 for a span of two hours. The students became entrepreneurs, geared up business with a limited capital, registered their stalls, marketed their products and found unique ways of advertising. This process took a week and on the day of the Carnival, students came up with their innovative ideas, products, a photobooth, spin and win game, misal pav, esprique, kulkki sarbath, handmade arts, secret admirer, 7 up and 7 down, angry birds with lovely hugs, and coin games. Students competed to make high profits and win excellence certificates. Students were rated based on their ideas, decoration and presentation skills by the judges. Finally, 7 up and 7 down was a big hit and made high profits.
The whole event was designed in such a way to Make the students understand the concepts of Marketing, business, accounts and their application RFI the real world.
