Brief Profile of Speakers:Chief Guest – Shri Arunakar Mishra – MD & CEO GENSER AEROSPACE & IT PVT LTD Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Mr.Mishra has xperience spanning 4 decades in India and abroad with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, in various divisions and offices (MIG Engine division, Accessories Division, Helicopter Division, Corporate Office, and Liaison Office-London). His key contributions have been in the fields of setting up IT-Systems for large organizations and spearheading Indian-aerospace-export-drive. He was instrumental in facilitating severalMoUs signed with leading aerospace organizations like Airbus, Boeing, BAE Systems, Fokker, Latecoere, SAAB, and SAGEM etc. He was the head of Worldwide Customer Support Services for Chetak and Cheetah Helicopters. Later, as Managing Director of MAP (MICRO AVIONICS & POSITIONING PVT LTD.), he headed the indigenous development and production of GPS-products and Navigational Database. An avid and articulate technologist, he has presented various papers including one on Integration of Tools, Technologies and Knowledge for Advances in Documentation Engineering” at the 11th Australian Aerospace Congress. A Mechanical Engineer with Master’s in Computer Science and Master’s in Business Administration, Mr.Arunakar has trained in Aeronautical engineering, Production engineering and Management Sciences at Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai and at HAL Staff College, Bangalore. With his passion for excellence in Aerospace and a vision for its future, he is steering Genser on a path of global growth.
Guest of Honour – Dr Meenakshi Rajeev RBI Chair Professor, CESP at Institute for Social and Economic Change Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Dr Meenakshi Rajeev is currently the Reserve Bank of India Chair Professor at the Institute for Social and Economic Change. She has graduated from IIT Kanpur in Statistics and didher Ph D in Mathematical Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. She hasworked as a faculty in University of California at San Diego, Central MichiganUniversity, USA, Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Kolkata, Presidency College, Kolkata. Her areas of research include game theory, banking, and credit market, industrial economics, and development economics. She has published more than 100 articlesand working papers in reputed journals from India and abroad. Her recent books, ‘Emerging Issues in Economic Development’ from Oxford University Press and ‘Financial Access of the Urban Poor in India: A Story of Exclusion’ from Springer are worth mentioning. She has visited many universities in USA, UK, Germany, France, and Norway, including Cornel University, University of California at San Diego, Kassel University, University of Essex etc.

The ceremony has been organized with all esteemed guests such as “Shri Arunakar Mishra”, MD & CEO Genser Aerospace & IT PVT LTD Bengaluru, Karnataka, India as ‘Chief Guest’ and “Dr Meenakshi Rajeev”, RBI Chair Professor, CESP at Institute for Social and Economic Change Bengaluru, Karnataka, India as ‘Guest of Honor’.

Significance of Ph.D. program to the society was been well addressed by the dignitaries. Especially, Shri Arunakar Mishra, MD & CEO Genser Aerospace & IT PVT LTD Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, addressed the gathering on significance of research, how research can bring bright side of the world exploring required transformations and transitions. He was majorly highlighting about research should be complemented by each other to bring quality and a greater good to the different industries and societies. Apart from this, he was sharing his real-time international research driven experiences in the Aerospace industry to the audience. Whereas, Dr Meenakshi Rajeev, RBI Chair Professor, CESP at Institute for Social and Economic Change Bengaluru, Karnataka, India discussed about how the research has been evolved to the greater extent to invent new things to make human lives the most sophisticated one and he also gave several inputs to the scholars on how one can enhance quality of outcome
through their research work and what are the qualities that one must build within to touch greater heights in doing research work under Ph.D. program.
