Republic Day is a national holiday in India that commemorates and celebrates the date on which India’s constitution took effect on January 26, 1950, replacing the Government of India Act 1935 as the country’s governing document and transforming the country into a newly formed Republic. The constitution was adopted by the Indian constituent assembly on November 26, 1949, and went into effect on January 26, 1950, with a democratic government system, completing the country’s transformation.
An online meeting was planned to discuss the task and allocate club members to each task, as well as collect the names of the participants who would be performing in the event, create posters, and appoint coordinators.
Everyone was enthusiastically participated in this event. A lot of students came forward to perform on this auspicious day. We started with introducing our hosts and later on, we did Flag Hoisting. After this, we enjoyed a lot of performances and inspirational speech.
