She had finished my Bachelor’s in Commerce from the Christ University, Bangalore. She holds a Master degree in Business Law from the National Law College Bangalore. She is a Qualified Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. During her tenure of experience as a Company Secretary, she has been associated with Guru & Jana a Chartered Accountant firm for 2 years. Further she moved to Source Naturals
Herbal Supplements limited, a Company floated by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar guruji from the Art of Living. She had an experience serving as a Company Secretary for 3 years in Arvind Fashions Limited, a leading organization from the textile industry.

In this talk Ms. Vinda talk about the role of Information Technology Act 2000 in Business Environment. New Communication systems and Digital Technology have made dramatic changes in the way we live. A revolution is occurring in the way people transact business. Business and consumers are increasingly using computers to create, transact and store information in the electronic form instead of traditional paper documents. With the advancement in technology and its uses in the business world, there arises a need to regulate and protect the interest of stakeholders. Hence, Information Technology Act 2000 came into force with effect from October 17, 2000 which is the first Cyber Law in India.
