Unleash Your Talent: ISBR\u2019s Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorable Online Contest 2020<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In celebration of knowledge, innovation, and the spirit of curiosity, the ISBR Group of Institutions<\/b> (managed by Bangalore Educational Trust\u00ae) and ISBR Digital Academy<\/b> proudly presented the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorable Online Contest 2020<\/b>. This initiative aimed to encourage and reward young students for their passion, innovative thinking, and to enrich their academic journeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unique online contest was completely free to enter<\/b> and open to students in the 10th, 11th, and 12th standards<\/b> across various schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Explore Diverse Events & Themes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Participants had the opportunity to showcase their abilities in a range of exciting online events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Public Speaking<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Drawing & Painting<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Quiz Competition<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Students could choose to participate in any one of these events. Each event was designed to explore various talents and align with contemporary global themes, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Challenges\u2026 Face it<\/b><\/li>\n

      Prizes & Recognition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      ISBR believes in fostering young talent, and the contest offered attractive prizes to recognize outstanding performance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • II Prize:<\/b> Rs 3,000<\/li>\n
      • III Prize:<\/b> Medals in each event<\/li>\n

        This was a unique opportunity for students to have their work appreciated by ISBR Digital Academy\u2019s panel of experts, enhance their writing skills, improve public speaking, showcase art, and explore their hidden talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To ensure fair play and smooth execution, specific rules and deadlines were in place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Last day for registrations:<\/b> July 15, 2020<\/li>\n
        • Entries submission (for all events):<\/b> On or before July 20, 2020<\/li>\n
        • Results Announcement:<\/b> August 5, 2020<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          General Rules:<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • One student could participate in only one event.<\/li>\n
          • Proof of identification was required during registration.<\/li>\n
          • The decision of the ISBR Panel was final and binding; no queries regarding this would be entertained.<\/li>\n
          • Plagiarism was strictly prohibited in the Essay Contest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Event-Specific Procedures:<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Online Essay Competition:<\/b>\n
                \n
              • Submissions in English only.<\/li>\n
              • Maximum 3000 words (including footnotes).<\/li>\n
              • Typed on A4 size electronic page.<\/li>\n
              • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all four sides.<\/li>\n
              • Font: Times New Roman, 12 points.<\/li>\n
              • Line spacing: 1.5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
              • Drawing & Painting Contest:<\/b>\n
                  \n
                • Maximum size: 50cm x 50cm.<\/li>\n
                • Any 2D art materials could be used (pencil, color pencil, fine liner, felt tip pen, paints).<\/li>\n
                • Designs had to be original.<\/li>\n
                • Images could be sent via email first, with hard copies by courier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                • Public Speaking Contest:<\/b>\n
                    \n
                  • Three-tier contest (depending on participants).<\/li>\n
                  • Contestants addressed a given topic online before a panel.<\/li>\n
                  • English language only.<\/li>\n
                  • Participants had to be dressed in business attire.<\/li>\n
                  • Minimum duration: 5 minutes, Maximum: 7 minutes (as per \u2018Online Contest Rules & Regulations.pdf\u2019).<\/li>\n
                  • Body language and gestures were an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                  • Quiz Competition:<\/b>\n
                      \n
                    • Three-tier contest.<\/li>\n
                    • Each participant was asked ten questions.<\/li>\n
                    • 30 seconds to answer each question. If unable to answer correctly, the question was passed to subsequent members who got 15 seconds.<\/li>\n
                    • The judge\u2019s decision was final and binding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
