In view of the growth in transactions and communications carried out through electronic records, the Govt. of India has introduced IT Act 2000, in an attempt to change outdated laws and provide ways to deal with cyber crimes.
Cyber law is a term used to describe the legal issues related to the use of communications technology, in the cyber world, i.e. the Internet. The cyber law is an attempt to integrate the challenges presented by human activity on the Internet with the legacy system of laws applicable to the physical world. The lawyers, police, govertnment offcers, law students, faculty, and the NGOs must know about the details of Information Technology and also the regulatory frame work for the control of Cyber crimes.
ISBR Law College provides unmatched opportunities and avenues to study law and related discipline in a rigorous and collaborative environment. In recent times, cyber law has merged as an important and challenging area of law. An effort to spread awareness of cyber security is the need of the hour and particularly among the law fraternity as they are the people who have to handle the cases of cyber crime.
Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law has been started not only to full the continuing legal education but also to understand the need for the safety, self protection and effective service to the society. This course covering fundamentals of Cyber Law with special focus on e-commerce, intellectual property issues, cyber crimes and digital evidence, both from national and international perspective, is tailor made to cater to the requirements of a wide range of professionals.
The course is suitable for the all sections of the society particularly for law students, lawyers, IT pursuers, police & law enforcement officials, chartered accountants, network and system admins, management professional and students, company secretaries, and commerce students who would like to specialize in CyberLaws.
