They say travels can teach better than class lectures. Although, educational degree matters, travelling lets you learn things an ordinary class discussion won't teach you. It enables you to explore new places, discover new practices, and compare different cultures.
Two types of journeys occur during travel. The outer journey describes the physical experience of travel: w here you w ent, w hat you saw and w hat you did w hile inner journey defines your interpretation of the experience. It describes w hat you learned, and how it changed your perspective on life.
"It’s a small world," or "the world is flat," are some of the most common phrases of our everyday conversations. Globalization is poised to be the theme of the 21st Century and may w ell be the greatest reorganization of our world since the Industrial Revolution.
Business leaders can no longer ignore globalization . International business can no longer be someone else's specialty. Every business leader must be prepared and equipped to lead in a global, cross-cultural world. To meet these ever changing divers demands placed on business leaders, Business Schools like us believes in learning through international study tour as its one of the key focuses in the Management Program.
Beyond just talking about global business issues, Management graduates accomplish many objectives, but the following three are at the core:
Experience and understand the culture of other countries through tours, cultural experiences, and interacting w ith host nationals.
Observe first -hand global businesses by meeting with business leaders and touring their facilities in order to learn how they develop and execute their strategy, manage their international business, and deal w ith the complexities they face both at home and abroad.
Have some fun and build community with fellow students, guests and faculty.
The intensive International Study Tour has been designed to expand participant understanding and insight through exposure to a variety of international environments, exploring best practices, property issues and challenges and to return having integrated the valuable lessons leaned through the study tour.
